This artwork by Hoàng Tích Chù achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Morning Session auction, the work Vietnamese Landscape sold for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 79,737.27) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hoàng Tích Chù; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Paysage du Tonkin (Tonkinese Landscape) sold at auction in November 2018 with the realized price of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 98,759.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hoàng Tích Chù erzielte im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Morning Session wurde die Arbeit Vietnamese Landscape für HKD 687.500,00 (€ 79.737,27) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Hoàng Tích Chù; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Paysage du Tonkin (Tonkinese Landscape) im November 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 98.759,16).
