Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Lady with a Fan by Hoàng Tích Chù. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,391.00). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hoàng Tích Chù achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage du Tonkin (Tonkinese Landscape) in November 2018 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 98,759.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lady with a Fan von Hoàng Tích Chù zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.391,00) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hoàng Tích Chù erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage du Tonkin (Tonkinese Landscape) im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 98.759,16).
