Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Mother and Daughters by Hoàng Tích Chù. The price achieved of HKD 56,250.00 (€ 6,501.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hoàng Tích Chù achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage du Tonkin (Tonkinese Landscape) in November 2018 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 98,759.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mother and Daughters von Hoàng Tích Chù zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 6.501,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hoàng Tích Chù erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage du Tonkin (Tonkinese Landscape) im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 98.759,16).
