Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Lady With A Fan by Hoàng Tích Chù. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 9,160.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hoàng Tích Chù achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage du Tonkin (Tonkinese Landscape) in November 2018 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 98,759.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lady With A Fan von Hoàng Tích Chù zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 9.160,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hoàng Tích Chù erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage du Tonkin (Tonkinese Landscape) im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 98.759,16).
