Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Transmission by Hiroyuki Matsuura. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,594.09). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hiroyuki Matsuura achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Akatsuki in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 2,647,500.00 (€ 217,959.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Transmission von Hiroyuki Matsuura zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.594,09) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hiroyuki Matsuura erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Akatsuki im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.647.500,00 (€ 217.959,35).
