Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Hiroyuki Matsuura achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. In the Contemporary Art Asia auction, the work Blister Collection sold for HKD 43,750.00 (€ 5,007.18) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hiroyuki Matsuura achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Akatsuki in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 2,647,500.00 (€ 217,959.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hiroyuki Matsuura erzielte im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia wurde die Arbeit Blister Collection für HKD 43.750,00 (€ 5.007,18) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hiroyuki Matsuura erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Akatsuki im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.647.500,00 (€ 217.959,35).
