Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bambi (Red Flasers) by Hiroyuki Matsuura was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 600,000.00 (€ 68,669.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hiroyuki Matsuura - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Akatsuki, which sold at auction in May 2008 for HKD 2,647,500.00 (€ 217,959.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bambi (Red Flasers) von Hiroyuki Matsuura kam im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 600.000,00 (€ 68.669,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Hiroyuki Matsuura mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Akatsuki beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für HKD 2.647.500,00 (€ 217.959,35) versteigert wurde.
