A top price for Himmat Shah
This work without title by Himmat Shah was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Indian Art auction at Christies in New York in March 2007. Here, the upper estimate of USD 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 78,000.00 (€ 58,322.12). With this result, this work without title is even the most expensive work of art by Himmat Shah that we have observed at auctions so far.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Himmat Shah wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Indian Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 78.000,00 (€ 58.322,12) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist dieses Werk ohne Titel sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Himmat Shah, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
