The work Untitled (Set of Three) by Himmat Shah was worth GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,609.94) to a buyer in May last year. This price was achieved in the auction The Surya Collection: Property from Mrs. Ute Rettberg at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Himmat Shah; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in March 2007 with the realized price of USD 78,000.00 (€ 58,322.12).
