It achieved a price of USD 3,900.00 (€ 2,916.11), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Himmat Shah achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 78,000.00 (€ 58,322.12).

Die Arbeit Two Untitled Works von Himmat Shah wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion Indian Art including Miniatures and Modern Paintings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.900,00 (€ 2.916,11) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Himmat Shah erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 78.000,00 (€ 58.322,12).
