Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Head by Himmat Shah was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2005. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 22,800.00 (€ 18,908.61). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Himmat Shah - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March 2007 for USD 78,000.00 (€ 58,322.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Head von Himmat Shah kam im September 2005 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 22.800,00 (€ 18.908,61) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Himmat Shah mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im März 2007 für USD 78.000,00 (€ 58.322,12) versteigert wurde.
