Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2003 Christies in London held the auction 20TH C BRIT ART INC. WORKS FROM THE STUDIO OF HILDA CARLINE, which included the work Count Tossa's Children by Hilda Carline. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 822.50 (€ 1,201.34). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hilda Carline achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Stanley Spencer in October 2003 with an auction result of GBP 24,675.00 (€ 36,040.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20TH C BRIT ART INC. WORKS FROM THE STUDIO OF HILDA CARLINE durch, in der auch die Arbeit Count Tossa's Children von Hilda Carline zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 822,50 (€ 1.201,34) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hilda Carline erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Stanley Spencer im Oktober 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 24.675,00 (€ 36.040,08).
