Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In August 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Standing female nude in a studio; and Standing female nude by Hilda Carline. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 562.50 (€ 697.52). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hilda Carline achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Stanley Spencer in October 2003 with an auction result of GBP 24,675.00 (€ 36,040.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im August 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Standing female nude in a studio; and Standing female nude von Hilda Carline zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 562,50 (€ 697,52) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hilda Carline erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Stanley Spencer im Oktober 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 24.675,00 (€ 36.040,08).
