The work Dinner by Hilary Pecis was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. It achieved a price of HKD 2,646,000.00 (€ 314,136.99), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 32%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hilary Pecis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fish and Bird, which sold at auction in March last year for GBP 942,500.00 (€ 1,117,439.83).

Die Arbeit Dinner von Hilary Pecis kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 2.646.000,00 (€ 314.136,99) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 32%. Für andere Arbeiten von Hilary Pecis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fish and Bird beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für GBP 942.500,00 (€ 1.117.439,83) versteigert wurde.
