Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Hilary Pecis was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in October this year. The price achieved of HKD 6,985,000.00 (€ 844,703.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,500,000.00 – 7,500,000.00. Other works by Hilary Pecis have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March last year the work Fish and Bird was auctioned for GBP 942,500.00 (€ 1,117,439.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hilary Pecis kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 6.985.000,00 (€ 844.703,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.500.000,00 – 7.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Hilary Pecis konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März letzten Jahres die Arbeit Fish and Bird für GBP 942.500,00 (€ 1.117.439,83) versteigert.
