The work Interior With Cats and Fish by Hilary Pecis was sold in the 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November last year. It achieved a price of HKD 3,780,000.00 (€ 469,067.13), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hilary Pecis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fish and Bird, which sold at auction in March last year for GBP 942,500.00 (€ 1,117,439.83).

Die Arbeit Interior With Cats and Fish von Hilary Pecis wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 3.780.000,00 (€ 469.067,13) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Für andere Arbeiten von Hilary Pecis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fish and Bird beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für GBP 942.500,00 (€ 1.117.439,83) versteigert wurde.
