In May last year Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale, which included the work Adrianne's Bookshelf by Hilary Pecis. The »bidding war« ended at USD 630,000.00 (€ 587,084.15), 26% above the upper estimate. Other works by Hilary Pecis have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 942,500.00 (€ 1,117,439.83) in March last year for the work Fish and Bird.

Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Adrianne's Bookshelf von Hilary Pecis zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 630.000,00 (€ 587.084,15) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Hilary Pecis haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 942.500,00 (€ 1.117.439,83) im März letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Fish and Bird beobachtet.
