Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Black Hole by Hideki Satoh was sold in the No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Originals auction at Christies in Hong Kong in April last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 20,160.00 (€ 2,437.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Hideki Satoh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cocoon in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 12,348.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Black Hole von Hideki Satoh wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Originals bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 20.160,00 (€ 2.437,49) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hideki Satoh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cocoon im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 12.348,97).
