Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Across the moor by Heywood Hardy was auctioned at Bonhams in London in September last year. The price achieved of GBP 8,287.50 (€ 9,431.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Heywood Hardy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Drawing Covert in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 118,750.00 (€ 140,348.60).
