Auction result well in line with expectations
The work One for the road by Heywood Hardy was auctioned at Bonhams in London in March last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,650.00 (€ 9,069.94) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Heywood Hardy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Drawing Covert in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 118,750.00 (€ 140,348.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit One for the road von Heywood Hardy kam im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.650,00 (€ 9.069,94) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Heywood Hardy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Drawing Covert im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 118.750,00 (€ 140.348,60).
