In June 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Spanish café De Paris by Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa. The result of GBP 150,000.00 (€ 170,822.01) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work El Casino de París in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 2,924,000.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spanish café De Paris von Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 150.000,00 (€ 170.822,01) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit El Casino de París im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.924.000,00.
