Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spanish paisaje Con Almendros (Almond Trees, Mallorca) by Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2016. It changed hands for a price of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 114,178.27) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work El Casino de París in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 2,924,000.00.

Die Arbeit Spanish paisaje Con Almendros (Almond Trees, Mallorca) von Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa kam im Mai 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 114.178,27) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit El Casino de París im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.924.000,00.
