Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Spanish gitana Poniéndose Flores (Gitana With Flowers) by Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa. The price achieved of GBP 149,000.00 (€ 194,429.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work El Casino de París in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 2,924,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spanish gitana Poniéndose Flores (Gitana With Flowers) von Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 149.000,00 (€ 194.429,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit El Casino de París im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.924.000,00.
