Auction result well in line with expectations
The work At The Round-Up by Herman Wendleborg Hansen was sold in the American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture auction at Sothebys in New York in April 2015. The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,438.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Herman Wendleborg Hansen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Attack on the Stagecoach in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 107,323.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit At The Round-Up von Herman Wendleborg Hansen wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.438,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Herman Wendleborg Hansen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Attack on the Stagecoach im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 107.323,77).
