In October 2020 Christies in New York held the auction The Legend of the West: Iconic Works from the T. Boone Pickens Collection, which included the work Attack on the Stagecoach by Herman Wendleborg Hansen. Here, the upper estimate of USD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 125,000.00 (€ 107,323.77). With this result, Attack on the Stagecoach is even the most expensive work of art by Herman Wendleborg Hansen that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The Legend of the West: Iconic Works from the T. Boone Pickens Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Attack on the Stagecoach von Herman Wendleborg Hansen zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 125.000,00 (€ 107.323,77) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Attack on the Stagecoach sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Herman Wendleborg Hansen, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
