Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of USD 59,750.00 (€ 45,063.73) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Herman Wendleborg Hansen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Attack on the Stagecoach, which sold at auction in October 2020 for USD 125,000.00 (€ 107,323.77).
