In September 2017 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Three works: (i-iii) Christ Unlimited by Herman Makkink. The »bidding war« ended at USD 20,000.00 (€ 16,930.50), 67% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Herman Makkink; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Rocking Machine, Gold Edition, 2021 sold at auction in November 2021 with the realized price of GBP 20,250.00 (€ 23,775.41).

Im September 2017 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Three works: (i-iii) Christ Unlimited von Herman Makkink zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 16.930,50) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Herman Makkink; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Rocking Machine, Gold Edition, 2021 im November 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 20.250,00 (€ 23.775,41).
