Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Hermann Landshoff could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in September this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work Albert Einstein changed hands for USD 640.00 (€ 604.69) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Hermann Landshoff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Selected Images in October 2019 with an auction result of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,378.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hermann Landshoff konnte im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner wechselte die Arbeit Albert Einstein für USD 640,00 (€ 604,69) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hermann Landshoff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Selected Images im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.378,75).
