Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work An Alpine Village by Hermann Herzog for USD 6,930.00 (€ 5,913.98). This price was achieved in the auction American Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hermann Herzog achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Florida Sunset in December 2008 with an auction result of USD 230,500.00 (€ 165,600.98).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit An Alpine Village von Hermann Herzog für USD 6.930,00 (€ 5.913,98) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hermann Herzog erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Florida Sunset im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 230.500,00 (€ 165.600,98).
