Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of EUR 8,125.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Herman Gouwe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A plough team, which sold at auction in November 2005 for EUR 19,200.00.

Die Arbeit Ploughing von Herman Gouwe wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 8.125,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16 %.
