Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ploughing by Herman Gouwe was sold in the Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2014. It achieved a price of EUR 8,125.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Herman Gouwe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A plough team, which sold at auction in November 2005 for EUR 19,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ploughing von Herman Gouwe wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 8.125,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Herman Gouwe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A plough team beobachtet, die im November 2005 für EUR 19.200,00 versteigert wurde.
