In the Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations auction, the work Jan Klaassen sold for EUR 1,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Herman Berserik achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Uitzicht uit atelier - View from the studio in December 2001 with an auction result of EUR 19,975.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Herman Berserik erzielte im September 2010 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations wurde die Arbeit Jan Klaassen für EUR 1.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Herman Berserik erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Uitzicht uit atelier - View from the studio im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.975,00.
