Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of EUR 6,875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Herman Berserik - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Uitzicht uit atelier - View from the studio, which sold at auction in December 2001 for EUR 19,975.00.

Die Arbeit Klein theater (a triptych) von Herman Berserik kam im September 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 6.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Herman Berserik mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Uitzicht uit atelier - View from the studio beobachtet, die im Dezember 2001 für EUR 19.975,00 versteigert wurde.
