Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A view of Warns by Herman Berserik was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2012. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Herman Berserik have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Uitzicht uit atelier - View from the studio in December 2001 with an auction result of EUR 19,975.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A view of Warns von Herman Berserik kam im September 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Herman Berserik auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Uitzicht uit atelier - View from the studio im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.975,00.
