In the Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations auction, the work De Boze Vrienden (omslag Adriaan v.d. Veen) sold for EUR 4,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,600.00. Admittedly, works by Herman Berserik have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Uitzicht uit atelier - View from the studio in December 2001 with an auction result of EUR 19,975.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Herman Berserik erzielte im September 2010 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations wurde die Arbeit De Boze Vrienden (omslag Adriaan v.d. Veen) für EUR 4.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Herman Berserik auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Uitzicht uit atelier - View from the studio im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.975,00.
