Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Heri Dono was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. The price achieved of HKD 87,500.00 (€ 8,645.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 65,000.00 – 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Heri Dono - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work KUDA BINAL (WILD HORSE), which sold at auction in May 2017 for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 31,401.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Heri Dono kam im November 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 8.645,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 65.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Heri Dono mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit KUDA BINAL (WILD HORSE) beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für HKD 275.000,00 (€ 31.401,30) versteigert wurde.
