Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Serial Superhero by Heri Dono was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 10,497.85). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Heri Dono - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work KUDA BINAL (WILD HORSE), which sold at auction in May 2017 for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 31,401.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Serial Superhero von Heri Dono wurde im November 2010 in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 10.497,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Heri Dono mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit KUDA BINAL (WILD HORSE) beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für HKD 275.000,00 (€ 31.401,30) versteigert wurde.
