Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Penemu Bulan (Moon Discoverer) by Heri Dono was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. The price achieved of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 22,024.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 250,000.00. Other works by Heri Dono have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2017 the work KUDA BINAL (WILD HORSE) was auctioned for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 31,401.30).
