In the Property From Encombe, Dorset & La Chasse, Jersey auction, the work Danger; and The Ruined Temple sold for GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,172.63) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Herbert Thomas Dicksee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dying Lion in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 74,500.00 (€ 91,562.90).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Herbert Thomas Dicksee erzielte im Januar 2007 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Property From Encombe, Dorset & La Chasse, Jersey wurde die Arbeit Danger; and The Ruined Temple für GBP 1.440,00 (€ 2.172,63) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00.
