Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Sporting and Wildlife Art, which included the work Head studies of three racehorses: Henry of Navarre, Monitor and Domino by Henry Stull. The price achieved of USD 11,875.00 (€ 8,531.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Henry Stull have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work American Leonatas, Winner Of The 1883 Kentucky Derby in December 2008 with an auction result of USD 65,500.00 (€ 47,057.98).

Im Dezember 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Sporting and Wildlife Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Head studies of three racehorses: Henry of Navarre, Monitor and Domino von Henry Stull zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 8.531,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry Stull auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit American Leonatas, Winner Of The 1883 Kentucky Derby im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 65.500,00 (€ 47.057,98).
