The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 60,000.00 – 90,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 65,500.00 (€ 47,057.98) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, American Leonatas, Winner Of The 1883 Kentucky Derby is the most expensive artwork by Henry Stull that we have observed at auctions so far.
