In November 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Sporting Art, which included the work American Race Horse With Jockey Up by Henry Stull. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,233.80), 52% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Henry Stull have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work American Leonatas, Winner Of The 1883 Kentucky Derby in December 2008 with an auction result of USD 65,500.00 (€ 47,057.98).

Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Sporting Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit American Race Horse With Jockey Up von Henry Stull zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 7.233,80) und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry Stull auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit American Leonatas, Winner Of The 1883 Kentucky Derby im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 65.500,00 (€ 47.057,98).
