Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Gros temps, côte du Finistère by Henry Moret was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 63,000.00 (€ 74,113.50). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry Moret - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'Ile de Groix, Morbihan, which sold at auction in June 2016 for GBP 200,500.00 (€ 240,665.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Gros temps, côte du Finistère von Henry Moret kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 63.000,00 (€ 74.113,50) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Henry Moret mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'Ile de Groix, Morbihan beobachtet, die im Juni 2016 für GBP 200.500,00 (€ 240.665,43) versteigert wurde.
