In the Annabel's auction, the work Keeping in with the Old Birds (i); The Business Friend (ii); The Holiday Morn (iii) sold for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,344.83) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Henry Mayo Bateman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Honour was satisfied in the season in retrospect (i); Demonstration of the new flexible fowling piece for crack shots (ii) in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,659.01).
