This artwork by Henry Martin Gasser achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in October 2016. In the Living with Art auction, the work Warren Street sold for USD 10,000.00 (€ 9,122.42) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Henry Martin Gasser; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Saturday Shoppers sold at auction in September 2010 with the realized price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,028.60).
