Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Henry Martin Gasser could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the California and Western Art Online auction, the work Field Workers Near Ventura sight 14 x 21 1/4 in. framed 25 x 32 in. changed hands for USD 384.00 (€ 352.04) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Martin Gasser achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Saturday Shoppers in September 2010 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,028.60).
