Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vue de la Place Vendôme, Paris by Henry Malfroy was auctioned at Christies in Paris in May 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,360.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Henry Malfroy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vue De Venise in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 16,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vue de la Place Vendôme, Paris von Henry Malfroy kam im Mai 2005 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.360,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry Malfroy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vue De Venise im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.800,00.
