In the British and Continental Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work Arundel Castle, Sussex sold for GBP 2,350.00 (€ 3,841.63) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Henry John Kinnaird; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot View Near Evesham On The Avon, Warwickshire; And View On The Ouse, Sussex (Illustrated) sold at auction in November 2005 with the realized price of GBP 3,120.00 (€ 4,583.67).
