Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2004 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Seascape, Italy by Henry Inlander. The price achieved of GBP 597.50 (€ 859.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Henry Inlander have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View From Castello in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 5,100.00 (€ 5,987.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seascape, Italy von Henry Inlander zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 597,50 (€ 859,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry Inlander auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View From Castello im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.100,00 (€ 5.987,88).
