Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Henry Inlander achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2019. In the Modern | British Art auction, the work Grass sold for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,137.32) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Henry Inlander; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot View From Castello sold at auction in November 2021 with the realized price of GBP 5,100.00 (€ 5,987.88).

In der Auktion Modern | British Art wurde die Arbeit Grass für GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.137,32) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Henry Inlander; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit View From Castello im November 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 5.100,00 (€ 5.987,88).
