Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2007 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction 20th Century British & Irish Art, which included the work Italian Village by Henry Inlander. The price achieved of GBP 1,680.00 (€ 2,472.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry Inlander - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View From Castello, which sold at auction in November 2021 for GBP 5,100.00 (€ 5,987.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2007 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion 20th Century British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Italian Village von Henry Inlander zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.680,00 (€ 2.472,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Henry Inlander mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View From Castello beobachtet, die im November 2021 für GBP 5.100,00 (€ 5.987,88) versteigert wurde.
